In her effort to help educate and enlighten potential migrants to the United States, Atty. Gali Koren of the Law Offices of Gali Koren, PLC recently conducted a series of free U.S. immigration seminars in several major cities in the Philippines.  The first venue was at the Sarabia Manor Hotel in Iloilo City on January 16, 2008 followed by another seminar at L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City on January 17, 2008. Atty. Koren then flew to Manila and held lectures at the Century Park Hotel on January 19, 2008 and at the Ateneo Professional Schools in Makati City on January 21, 2008.  Topics included temporary and permanent work visas for healthcare professionals and other employment based petitions, family-based petitions, and a special section for business owners and those interested in investing in the U.S.  Close to a thousand participants attended in all venues.
